  1. Hi! I have the same fabric you used for Mikey’s flannel quilt! I don’t have all the fabrics but most of them. Anyway, I have my rows all set but now I’m worried the seams will be too thick unless I iron them open, which I do not want to do. How did you do your seams? Open? Or left one row and then right the next row? I haven’t put this quilt top together because I was searching a square -brick type pattern…so I could iron seams open….what do you think?

    1. Hi Dana! I just alternated the seams to either side. Normally I will do row one to the left, then row two to the right, and so on. I didn’t think they were too thick, even with the flannel. But perhaps if you were worried you could just do an offset pattern, like row one normal, and then the second row starts halfway through the first block. Does that make sense? Let me know if you have any more questions! 🙂
